On Tuesday, 13 May 2025, Karel Masařík, Director of the Czech Semiconductor Centre, met with representatives of Brainport Development from Eindhoven, the Netherlands, to whom he introduced the semiconductor and chip industry as one of the important strategic areas of the domestic economy. The meeting was attended by Wim de Kinderen and Naomie Verstraeten on behalf of the Dutch side. The innovation ecosystem was presented by David Uhlíř from the innovation agency JIC, who is also active in the Czech Semiconductor Centre project. The representatives jointly discussed high-tech manufacturing and development in both countries and presented potential areas of cooperation.
