HiCONNECTS – Heterogeneous Integration for Connectivity and Sustainability – is a flagship Chips JU project supporting the EU’s ambition to double its microelectronics industry market share. The consortium is developing next-generation electronic components, systems, and integration technologies to power networking and RF innovations such as Wi-Fi, 5G/6G, and radar.
The project also targets energy-efficient, sustainable cloud and edge computing platforms, helping to bring digital services closer to end users. Its work spans high-performance computing, storage, networking, and real-time analysis of IoT sensors and big data.
